Staging a Home To Sell

Staging a home to sell is paramount in real estate. Alot of people cannot imagine a home with their belongings in it unless they see an example. Follow the five easy steps below and watch your real estate sell quickly.

Five Steps To Staging A Home

1. Clear the clutter.
2. Remove personal items.
3. Create a flow from room to room.
4. Tackle home improvements.
5. Create curb appeal.

Mounds of mail and books piled high on tables distract from a rooms positive features. If you have the time throw junk mail away. Then organize the remaining documents, bills, etc. in a file cabinet or drawer that is out of sight of potential buyers. Bills and mail can make you feel anxious and overwhelmed and you don’t want to pass that feeling onto the buyers. If you do not have time before the house is to be shown then pack it into boxes or some similar container that can be stored out of view. read full article Staging A Home To Sell...

Monday March 2, 2009 - Laminate Flooring

Marty McCall's How To: Monday's
This week I want to talk a little bit
about Laminate Flooring.
<--back to Home Page
Laminates come in all types of styles with very believable patterns. Hardwood, ceramic, and stone look laminates have become so innovative they look just like the natural surfaces they are meant to immitate.
A word of caution when considering laminate is that most laminate flooring is not suitable for bathrooms or other rooms with high incidences of water on the floor.
They have the look of stone or ceramic but do not carry the same applications. When shopping for laminate flooring be sure to check with your salesperson for moisture warranty.
Laminate flooring has special cleaners made specifically for each flooring product. Be sure you use the proper cleaner. Quick Clean cleaners are made specifically for Quick Step laminate flooring.
